I am throwing this out on the BB because I and at least one other AMSAT member
is having this problem. Here is a quick rundown:
We are trying to use the FunCube dongle with SpectraVue. We select the
following in SpectraVue:
- InputDevice: SoundCard
- SoundCard IN Setup: Microphone (3- FunCube
So, I just heard Mike Fossum on the radio! Finally. Wow!
He said I thought hello Ohio, West Virginia, and I *thought* he said
hello New Jersey. Though I don't know if it was me.
I called a few times in haste because he was spotty on my low power rig.
I can only wish someone else heard him.

The correlation works well for birds in a circular orbit, but elliptical orbits
are another story. A high elliptical orbit could result in a long pass at a
very low elevation, or a very short pass at 90 degrees if perigee is over the
