To help us calibrate our receiver system does somebody know the EIRP of the
ISS packet VHF system and the Funcube VHF bacon or any other signal we can
use as a reference?

Its 1135 am (GMT) here in Wales ( UK ) and pleased to report that I am
hearing the satellite quite strong with just my Elk antenna and Kenwood
TS2000.
Not yet set to record or decode the data but pleased to see the satellite
in is in good health.
Congratulations to the Team.
After some commanding difficulties - actually caused by a setup error here
at the ground station, we can confirm that AO-73 was switched into
autonomous mode during our pass on Orbit 32. Your reports are awaited with
interest!

You can add new TLE's by using the Edit-Update TLE and choose network or
local files. I've found it interesting to get some of the funcube TLE's in
there, maybe Gpredict is being picky but it's worked. Also, there's a
downward facing arrow in the top right window of Gpredict with a
configure menu

through the solar panels and consequently discharging the batteries (unless

Here in central Arizona, I'm supposed to have over 300 days of
clear and sunny weather every year. Today was not one of those
days, and it has been wet into the evening. I did not get all of my
gear out to work the FUNcube pass that just went over the
continental USA around 0440 UTC, but
I attempted to upload a QSO using AO-73 as a satellite name in Logbook
of the World. Since the satellite was a recently assigned this OSCAR
number it appears the ARRL does not yet recognize it. I've opened a
ticket with the LoTW helpdesk to resolve this issue.
