I'd appreciate any info on who repairs Landwehr preamps (VHF and UHF).
Resurrecting mine from 1990 and they are both dead. They have what I
recall to be the classic symptom of a blown GasFET, when you apply power
you get about 30dB of loss.

the on line schematic shows tuned input only.
This unit has both tuned input and tuned output.
Does anyone have a schematic for this model?

I too am always looking for ideas as I get older and know downsizing is
sooner rather than later forcing me to move and shed my M2 rotatable pair.
I've been slowly working on building double Moxon's for 440 and 2 meters
both using #6 copper wire and trying to measure very carefully. Another list
Sand it to shiny copper and lay on some paste flux.
Even then, you'll need a lot of heat. Make sure the solder flows on,
and not just globs on.
I have not built a Moxon but I have dealt with soldering heavy wire.
