Here I come back again on that topic :P Adobe has open-sourced (MPL/GPL/LGPL, great, IMO !) and gifted to the Mozilla foundation his JIT compiler for ActionScript which is in fact an implementation of ECMAScript a.k.a. JavaScript; this will mean great improvements in speed both for AJAX

Well, you may want a comment : I really don't like JS. But i would like to use an HTML engine that supports JS in order to use themes like those for adium. We can't do that for the moment with TK. But we also need good libs for audio/video : those from the farsight project. About python, there's a
