Hi Ron, I found that acquiring a Tmobile G1 on eBay a cheap alternative to buying an ADP1. You should be able to get a used G1 for about $200, and a new one for about $300. Make sure you get an unlocked one if you plan on using it on a network other than Tmobile.
Judging by your email address I don't think you have the same problem as I do, but shipping an ADP1 out of the USA is really cost prohibitive. -Bart.
