At this point of the code A and B are null:
iA = Integer.parseInt(A.trim());
iB = Integer.parseInt(B.trim());
The computation part should be in your onClick method.

Hello all, brand new to Android with my Sprint HTC Hero. Obviously,
the software came with Android 1.5 and I need help.
#1. Do I need to upgrade to 1.6 before i upgrade to 2.0?
#2. Again, I am a rookie here. Do I need to install or download SDK
before upgrading the software?

Okay, so I am creating a test program (my version of "hello world"
every time I start developing on a new platform) that flashes the
numbers 0 through 500 on the screen rapidly. Here's what I have in my

I have just started messing around with my g1 and I was wondering if
anyone has any good tutorials for app dev. I am "ok" with java and I
am still learning. One simple thing I tried to run on the g1 emulator
was an app that just got a line of text from the user and printed it
back. I did this
I have downloaded andriod software. I have not downloaded the eclipse
plugin. I tried to run the android software I dowloaded, but it
errored out. What are the procedures to install this software. The
instruction are a little goofy on the andriod site.. Need some help
