I want to write an app involving Google Maps API. I want my user to enter the name of a place where he is in a textbox and then enters the name of his desired destination in another textbox. Once he clicks the button after that, the required map gets displayed.
I have 2 questions here: Is it possible to make such an app on android? I guess the android can auto-detect where the user is..am i correct?
