Hi Just getting into Android, waiting for my physical device to turn up. So checking out the emulator for the purposes of website compatability testing to start with. The first thing I ran into was with a recent prototype which uses drag'n'drop to allow the user to select items from a list and deposit them in another section of the page. However dragging your finger (or mouse in this case) simply pans around the webpage itself. So my question is, is it possible to support drag'n'drop within a web page on Android? If so how do you simulate that interaction in the emulator, and the real device (if it is different), eg is the user meant to press a button at the same time as dragging on the page? I have no experience with other devices on this particular issue having just tried out my recent prototype now, but I would imagine similar issues will have been encountered.
