I second Zach, no need to over-react.
ADC II, from what I heard (from Jason Chen, during fireside chat) at Google
I/O in SF, will be held early 2009, possibly January. They were also
tentative. What Muthu said was more or less in line with the above.

You can see my Feb. 5th post on this group:
"BTW, do you guys know MIT opened an Android course this semester?
I kind of feel that this extension has something to do with this
google-sponsored MIT course.
* I'll bet the entry winners includes at least one from MIT students
taking Android class.*"
MIT winning entry to me seems to be a publicity stunt for Google.
The deadline extension was also suspiciously linked to this MIT course
schedule.
Have the original deadline stayed the same, none of these MIT entries would
make it, less winning it. Coincidence? You be the judge.

I agree with ConAim. iPhone is REAL hardware comparing to android
emulator. It already has millions of users. Don't feel bad about not
winning the ADC. There are other platforms you can look into, iPhone,
Symbian, J2ME, Windows Mobile...

OMG!!! Duo didn't win
it's unbelievable!!! Duo is the best I've seen so far...
so unless the top 100, top 50 are far exceeding what Duo does... which is
quite frankly, impossible...
we'll see on monday who are the winners... so sad...

Feel the same here.
The participants are from different backgrounds. The judging are human
processes. The results are based on the human judgments. But I see the ADC
has made efforts to make it as fair as it can.
