Hey Guys I have pointed a part of my app at a publicly available webpage, however "the owner" of the web page has contacted me and asked me to cease pointing people to his web page. My question is.....is this considered to be illegal? I believe it is commonly called 'web scraping', where you use a link to another web site/page within your website/page or in this case I have a button in my app that points to his webpage. Your thoughts please.
