I'm developing an application which has a webview in it. Webview loads an html file that contains a form with <input type="file" /> tag to upload a file.
But in KitKat (API 19) File Chooser does not open when the button is clicked. (Even if the same webpage opened via web browser, same result). It works on all other Android versions(ICS to Nougat). Problem is only with the Kitkat. I think this is a well known issue, but so far I couldn't find any solution for this.
