Hello Developers! I am a former blackberry user & have switched over to the G1. With all the positives of the G1 they left out a feature that I felt was VERY VERY important!
The feature I am talking about on Blackberry (BB) is the profiles setting. On BB you can set a contact or phone number to ring even if you have your phone on silent. I used it for emergency purposes, for example I own a sports bar & I had my burglar alarm company's phone number programmed in to ring incase my bar was being broken into, I found the feature very useful because like most others we all have friends that drunk dial & wake you for no reason. This feature allowed me to stay asleep & still have the piece of mind to know that if my bar was being looted I would be able to get the call or if my Mom or Dad needed to get a hold of me for a health emergency I could be awaken. I picked the loudest & most annoying ring I had to make sure I would hear it.
