Personally I started using Sam's teach yourself android application
development I found it to be very useful for the teaching me the
basics, it starts off slow and had downloadable code for each section
of the book which helps.
This was written for 2.1 but will still be relevant

Does anybody know if Google are planning to sell music with Google
Music, and more importantly are they going to have a commission scheme
like Amazon or Apple? or is it going to just be a service which hosts
peoples MP3s they already have?

update the Android SDK?
