*Duration : Long-Term Contract.* *Locals for phone interview and one face to face interview is required.* We need candidates with phenomenal communication skills both written and verbal as their will be a lot of contact with the business units and C-Level Executives that aren’t necessarily technical. This Dev/Ops Consultant will need experience with *Microsoft Azure and Salesforce Commerce Cloud*. We’re seeing a lot of Dev/Ops consultants that have great AWS experience but little Microsoft Azure experience and zero SFCC experience. Our client is migrating from Amazon Web Services to Microsoft Azure to help with the larger migration of Salesforce Cloud Computing. Only candidates with phenomenal communication skills will be considered. DevOps Engineer that has Demand ware or Salesforce Commerce Cloud experience in an Azure or an AWS capacity, DevOps with both Azure and AWS and cloud experience, preferably Salesforce Commerce Cloud. That’ll get someone hired! As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be involved in the implementation phase of projects as well as having technical responsibility for customer sites post go-live. This will involve working collaboratively with customers, partners and SFCC Cloud Services teams to deliver our solutions through the project life cycle. In addition, you will provide quality operational support after go-live to ensure high availability and performance of customer sites hosted by SFCC (Demand ware) Cloud Services. *Requirements:* Experience supporting SFCC (Demandware) implementations and all associated build/Test/Stage environments.. Working knowledge related to the configuration and administration of SFCC commerce software and internal, core applications (.Net, Apache, Tomcat, Solr) Deployed, supported multiple Cloud Based Applications in Azure, AWS. Demonstrated working knowledge of CDNs, particularly Akamai. Set-up, Tuning. Troubleshooting and finding resolutions to complex technical problems across multiple tiers (web servers, application servers, database, search cluster, integrations, automation platform) Providing 2nd and 3rd level incident management support across our SFCC and traditional Digital Compute Environment. Application performance diagnosis and tuning using APM tools like NewRelic, dynaTrace Contributing to the development and implementation of the standards and processes framework supporting the automation platform and SFCC Cloud Services Experience working with and managing Distributed Version Control Software repositories like Github, Bitbucket, Team Foundation Server. Working knowledge of Continuous Integration/Deployment Automation Tools, like Jenkins. *Qualifications* You have supported Linux/Unix/Microsoft deployments for a company with a high traffic site in the cloud. You have designed, monitored and managed scalable and fault-tolerant deployments and supported them in real-world scenarios. You have lead or occupied a senior role in a Ops/DevOps team. You have experience with continuous integration, log collection and analysis, builds and performance monitoring/tuning of your infrastructure. You are service-oriented, and enjoy working with engineers to make the software development process as painless as possible. You are comfortable writing scripts in bash/php/python. You are extremely reliable and we can count on you in times of need . Knowledge of infrastructure automation and orchestration concepts Strong verbal and written communication skills. Any of the following would be an advantage: Experience with Chef/Puppet or other similar automation tools Understanding of JVM optimization, tuning and debugging Understanding of application performance and tuning Experience in eCommerce, SalesForce Commerce Cloud, hybris *Education / work experience*: BS /MS in Computer science or related technical field 3-4 years relevant work experience in DevOps with solid Unix System Administration background. Solid development skills in at least one of the following: Java, Ruby, or Python. Shell scripting expected. Well versed in internet architectures, including web, application, and database components. General networking skills including understanding of firewalls, DNS, NAT and packet filtering. Experience with any of the Managed Services / Public Cloud systems such as AWS, Google Compute Engine, Rackspace, Azure.
