*IT Business Analyst* *Houston TX (HYBRID role- 2 DAYS onsite/Week) – Need local TX candidates * *7 months contract* REQUIREMENTS *- 6-8 years’ experience as a Business Analyst *- Individual will play a role of Sr. BA and *expected to perform some day-to-day project management duties - Candidate must have experience working in an application development team - Candidate must have experience working in an agile (scrum) team in a fast-paced environment *- Candidate *must have experience with application testing as well as leading/providing guidance to QA teams and facilitating user acceptance testing * - Candidate should have experience performing exploratory testing to understand as-implemented business processes - Candidate must be able to work independently and hit the ground running - *Good understanding of backend application processes and logic* - Experience as a Lead Business Analyst preferred *- Experience working with/managing an offshore team highly preferred* Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Documents requirements, defines scope and objectives, and formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. May require a bachelor's degree in a related area and 6-8 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with relational database concepts, and client-server concepts. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
