It appears as though the emulated GSM portion of the android emulator is not working on my system. After scouring the web I have yet to find anyone with information about what might be causing the problem. When I fire up my avd (any avd), it says "No Service" If I go to Settings -> Mobile Networks -> Network Operators, I get an error message: "Error while searching for networks"
I am running Ubuntu 9.04 x64 desktop edition. I have SDK 1.6r1 downloaded. I'm hoping this is a simple thing to fix.
