I extracted com.google.android.map.jar and com.google.android.map.xml and Map.apk files from the another development device which has google maps in it.
I started with following procedure.. 1. adb -d shell 2. # mount -o rw -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock3 /system mount -o rw -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock3 /system mount: Device or resource busy I can't copy the above files to the /system/framework/ , /system/etc/ permissions/ , and /system/app to these directories.
