Your best solution is to buy a ordinary HTC G1 from ebay US and ship
it to you.
Or just buy the ordinary G1s from HK/China
There are ways in XDA-developers to root the phone, making it
essentially the same as the ADP1.
I can guarantee you that it will save you at least US$200 compared to
ADP
