instead.
What I thought were tabs in another application must have just been
buttons.

smaller and cause inconvenience to users who are going to use fingers for
tapping. Even the iPhone has large widgets for easy touch operation.

Hmmm... I've seen apps that use tabs significantly smaller than that
of the default ones. I believe that they can be modified.
