Nope, everything is OK. That's the boot screen of the emulator. Give
it some time and it will eventually start up. You want to have a good
PC to run the emulator.

Also note that you don't have to close/start the emulator over each
time you make a change to the app, just build and run and it will get
pushed to the currently running emulator.
