*Junior Business Analyst with e-Commerce exp* *Location: Chicago, IL – Locals highly preferred * *Duration: 6 Months * *Job Overview:* The Digital organization is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join the Digital Personalization team. The Senior Business Analyst will work as part of our focused product team transforming business requirements into detailed user stories, in order to deliver best-in-class digital experiences for our customers. This individual will also support the product owner in overall roadmap planning and product strategy. The Senior Business Analyst will be working with motivated teams on highly visible and valuable customer-facing digital products. This position requires an excellent communicator with outstanding analytical skills, in order to collaborate with business users, technology teams and leadership in an Agile environment. *Job Responsibilities:* - Translates high level requirements into detailed level requirements (user stories) to be consumed by the development pods in each sprint, while ensuring stories and features are added iteratively to the product to add overall value - Manages a story backlog to ensure readiness of user stories for the upcoming sprint - Facilitates agile rituals such as inception, iteration and story kickoff, estimation sessions, and help to keep team up-to-date with changes in priorities and to be available to answer questions quickly - Analyzes data to ensure features are aligned with product goals/objectives and delivering the most business value - Creates acceptance criteria that is clear, concise and actionable - Works with cross functional teams and departments including, but not limited to: data engineering, machine learning and AI, mobile app and web development, digital product owners, etc. - Works with User Experience (UX) analysts to ensure prototypes convey story intent - Works with Dev and QA to understand the boundaries of any given story - Contributes to overall definition of strategy and scope, including working with business stakeholders to understand ‘why’ we are working on something before development begins - Identifies opportunities for improvement across product, process and team *Required:* Project management skills *- Bachelor's degree* Preferred: - 1-2 years Agile/Scrum experience - JIRA or TFS experience - Previous Business Analyst experience - PMP certification Please call me on my Direct Number 615-581-2656, I might not be available on Desk Number as I’d be working remote this week.
