Been going round and round with a webview and javascript in android 2.3. I understand the javascriptinterface doesn't work in this version of android, fine. Are there also issues with javascript? I can get the webchromeclient to return alerts from the page using .LoadUrl() pointed to a local resource, sometimes. Seems to work only once then it hangs. Mostly it just fails without error. Pretty basic stuff here.
There seems to be an awful lot of devices still running this android version, so it's really the version we want to target but i'm at my wits end with this stuff.
