you can update your support library through sdk and then import the support
library to eclipse and run the app.If your computer has 64-bit OS then u
can run 64 or 32 bit version of eclipse adt if your computer has 32 bit OS
you should use 32-bit eclipse adt bundle .thanks

[android-developers] trying to run Android Studio in Ubuntu 14.04 can't read documentation, or create virtual device

I want to port 

http://generalfuzz.net/acrn/

to android to help my (and other peoples) tinnitus. I tried AppInventor but 
it could not make the frequency slider. & then PhoneGap which only produced 
a part of the app.

So I thought I have to start from scratch.
I am running Ubuntu 14.04 32 bit on machine with 310 GB.  My reading of the 
requirements was that this is sufficient.
I installed Oracle Java 8, &  Android Studio & tried to create MyFirstApp.
It does not find my samsung phone in developer mode, tells me that my 
laptop lacks an intel processor & is therefore  inadequate to create a 
virtual device & refuses to run online documentation. There was an adb 
error at the bottom of the screen which I tried to fix by rolling back 
platform-tools & now it simply refuses to react to the request for online 
documentation.

Q1 Is this laptop able to develop in android studio?
Q2 How can I debug the online documentation failure?

[android-developers] Can anyone explain how to expand a file?

The file itself will not let me in to expand or even just look at it. It is 
the SDK toolkit and the Android studio platform for building. Someone 
please help. We are also looking for new web and app builders here in Fort

[android-developers] Can't install API 7, 8 and 13 because not compatible with windows, PLEASE HELP

Hi, I just installed the SDK manager and everything works fine installing 
all the API:s except for 7, 8 and 13!

It just says "not compatible" and I can't simply install them but I really 
really need them urgently!

Can anyone help me bypass this somehow?

[android-developers] How to verify compatibility check response from Google Safetynet, without using the API?

Hello

I have questions with verification of response part in Google Safetynet API 
(http://developer.android.com/training/safetynet/index.html#verify-compat-check)
 
. If I want to do this manually on my server instead of sending response to 
Google, do I have to store Google's certificates and keep updating them on 
my server? Can anyone help with any sample code or architecture to 
understand the flow here?

Same problem for Android Studio 2.0. 
OS Ubuntu 14.04.3, "mesa-utils" were installed (to fix "sh: 1 glxinfo not 
found"), but still stuck on start of API 19 emulator (for both Nexus 4 and 
Nexus 9). No logs printed in Run -> AVD: Nexus4_API_19 tab when in loop.
Android SDK Tools 25.1.2
Android SDK Platform-tools 23.1
Android SDK Build-tools 23.0.3 (also installed 24rc3 from Preview Channel)

Hi,

If you upload new app with same old code base ,your old application is
updated with new name. But it will not be uploaded as new app.
To achieve this you should change the main package name in your new app.
Then only play store will accept it as new application.

Hi coderdk  ,
Thanks for your reply ,I know we can use same code in multiple project by 
creating lib of it.  But My question is ,* I have published an app and that 
app is in play store *and  I'm gonna submit another app with same code base 
but different app name. Will the android reject the App due to same code 
base?

I used this approach and it was working perfectly, but recently after 
upgrading Adroid to Lollipop I can't get display pdf via this in webview 
anymore. I'm getting crazy. Nothing has been changed in application, all 
all my devices it works except lollipop's ones. Any idea what changed and 
how to fix it?

apk hosted on my server . when user insatll that apk that reffer also go 
with apk so that i can track the referrer (Same as play store)
