[android-developers] Connecting to Android Studio Emulator, Not responding on Ping

Hello,

I am trying to connect to a websocket server on my android studio emulator, 
running in an application. But I am having no success.
The phone is not answering my pings on ip 10.0.2.15, so it seems that it 
isn't available on the network.

Is it only possible to connect from within android studio? I am trying with 
a websocket client made in javascript and in java/eclipse, both does not 
work.

I think I already mentioned that in first post. (Removed hardware level in 
Android 8). 
But that doesn't bring Push Red Button to Deploy Updates on every android 
devices feature.

 Well Google should take he risk. Don't allow manufacturer to alter it's 
 base android. You said that most OEM won't use Android. What would they

 Everyone knows what happened to Symbian (Nokia), Bada (Samung), 
 Blackberry. Android is in demand. And no one can replace it at least not

First of all, thank you so much for everything you do! Your hard work is 
appreciated by millions of android users.

I have a small (I think) request for Android TV. I would like to see a 
"stop all running apps" option within the settings to do a soft reset. 
Kinda like on the smartphone using "Smart Manager". This would help when 
apps are not responding correctly.

[android-developers] stand alone application on android device

Hello folks,

I am looking to create an stand alone application device on Android. The 
use case is as follows:
1. User boots the device. the device boots up android.
2. The stand alone application starts. User will not be able to exit out of 
the app or close it. This would mean that any hardware buttons will be 
disabled expect for the reset and power on/off.
3. Within the application's UI authenticated user (admin) can launch 
Settings option to set WIFI connectivity 

what is the best way to build this under Android?

 I am creating an app using Android Studio.

This is app is sending sms using SmsManager and it is working fine. WHAT I 
am wanting is to: when a sms is sent by this app, the sent sms should be 
saved with the device's sent folder, so when the user will open the default 
sms app, he/she can see this sms as sent.

Please let me know how to make it done and oblige me thereby.

 I am very new to android development. 

I am trying to make an application to send sms using android studio.

I have already built it too and it is also working very nice BUT when the 
sms is delivered, I am showing a delivery message as string within a 
dialog. WHAT I want is: when the sms is delivered, the dialog should show 
the recipient number as well as the sms body.

For example: if I am sending a sms to the number:  and the sms message, 
is: "HELLO", then the dialog will show the delivery report as the 
following:-

 In the PC/laptop world, there is already a lot of standards on relation
 on how the hardware interfaces are made. Most devices are mostly the same,

Now I create applications where discount are made for the products 
concerned. The Android Pay make collect some money from an application card 
and other money from another source for all transactions. This situation is 
possible? How to do it?
