[android-developers] Re: Questions for the group regarding URL Launchers

2010-06-21 Thread gojuryu
Have you received any direct responses for this yet? I'm interested in
the same.

On Jun 17, 5:49 pm, AfMob affiliatesmob...@gmail.com wrote:
I have long had my WAP pages built and had myURLlaunchers built by
an outsourced group in India. I now have a requirement to update
my .apk files to 2.2 as well as build 6 additional .apk files that are
made up of 6 completely differentURLlaunchers to other WAP sites. I
have successfully set up my Java and SDK environment

 My questions are:
What is the best recommendation the group can suggest as a starting
 point?
How do I open the .apk file in my eclipse environment to make the
 changes necessary?

The Android Market says the following when I attempt to upload my .apk
 file:
 [quote]
Market does not accept apks signed with the debug certificate. Create
a new certificate that is valid for at least 50 years.
Market requires that the certificate used to sign the apk be valid
until at least October 22, 2033. Create a new certificate.
Market requires the minSdkVersion to be set to a positive 32-bit
 integer in AndroidManifest.xml.

[android-developers] GetJar networking event in San Mateo, CA. April 22nd

2009-04-20 Thread gojuryu

Hi Google Developers Group!

GetJar.com and Device Anywhere are throwing a little networking event
at GetJar’s offices as a kind of “office warming” to kick off the
opening of GetJar’s new US office. There will food and drinks for
everyone along with a little challenge to make things interesting:
The GetJar Ping Pong challenge!

The GetJar networking event is on Wednesday April 22nd from 5:30-8:00
pm. Our offices are located at 1500 Fashion Island Blvd #209, San
Mateo CA 94404.

What’s the Ping Pong challenge? GetJar’s CEO, Ilja, is an industry
phenomenon in Ping Pong but at GetJar we’re all dying to see somebody
beat him at his favorite game or – at the very least – give him a run
for his money. So here’s the deal: we’ll give a prize to whoever can
beat him. This will be measured by the total number of points won off
him. Whoever gets the most points wins a mystery prize which will be
revealed once you’re here.

Look forward to meeting you all in person and see you next week and
start practicing those ping pong skills!
