[android-developers] Camera Access through WebView
Hi All, Is it possible to invoke the camera through a WebView instance? Can HTML5 be used? I want to have a Android Web App which can access the Camera Hardware in the Android phone. Can this be done? Regards, Perumal -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups Android Developers group. Re: [android-developers] Camera Access through WebView
Hi Sogan, Thanks for the info. But the links does not offer a solution. Has this been done? Or Camera API access through browser will only be available in future releases of Android? Re: [android-developers] Camera Access through WebView
You may want to try phonegap, I believe they have camera support, and they're open source.
