Developers, I wanted to develop an application to decode and display a jpg file(either from a location on the disk or from a url). I browsed for a few codes and tried running them but unfortunately nothing worked. I'm new to Android and to make things worse very new to java. Could any of you help me out with a pointer to a simple source code to decode and display a jpg file on the emulator? Thanks in advance
