*Position : Hadoop Developer *

*Location :  Atlanta, GA*

*Duration:  12+Months*

*Visa Status:  USC, GC, OPT-EAD, L2-EAD, H4-EAD*

*Openings: 8 openings*

 

· Interview process- 3 recorded video interview sessions with a 
coding exam on the first day of assignment for confirmed consultants

· Submittal process- resume with personal cell and personal email 
address, photo id, and visa docs (if applicable) are required at the start 
of the selection process 

*Overview :  *

· Big Data Hadoop Developer- ideal consultant will have 8 years of 
overall IT experience with 2+ years of Hadoop expertise.

· Requires an BA/BS degree in related field or technical institute 
training and 8 or more years related experience; 

· experience on one or more platforms, and expert level experience 
three or more BI applications; or any combination of education and 
experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

· Key skills:  2+ years hands on development experience with Hadoop 
and related technologies (Cloudera, Hive, Impala, Pig, Java etc.).   

· Experience with a variety of tools in the Hadoop space such as 
Solr, Kafka, and Hbase (Hbase strongly preferred) in a complex corporate IT 
environment. 

· Hands on experience with large scale MPP data warehousing/data 
integration preferred (Teradata, Netezza, Informatica, etc.)  

· General systems operational expertise, including understanding of 
systems' capacity, bottlenecks, memory, CPU, OS, storage, and networking  
Configuration and operation experience in security features such as 
   Kerberos, LDAP, Active Directory, etc.

· Good knowledge of open source Linux configuration with strong 
Unix skills.

Need 3 Hadoop Programmers/Developers (Hadoop Data Engineer). 

We are a tight-knit, supportive community passionate about on delivering 
the best experience for our customers while remaining sensitive to their 
unique needs.  

In this role, you will be helping to build new data pipelines, 

identifying existing data gaps, and providing automated solutions to 
deliver advanced analytical capabilities and enriched data to applications 
that are supporting the operations team.  

You will also be responsible for obtaining data from the System of Record 
and establishing real-time data feed to provide analysis in an automated 
fashion. 

 

*Desired Skills: * 

· Experience working with Hadoop/Big Data related field 

· Working experience on tools like Hive, Spark, HBase, Sqoop, 
Impala, Kafka, Flume, Oozie, MapReduce, etc. 

· Hands on programming experience in perhaps Java, Scala, Python, 
or Shell Scripting, to name a few 

· Experience in end-to-end design and build process of Near-Real 
Time and Batch Data Pipelines 

· Strong experience with SQL and Data modelling  

· Experience working in Agile development process and deep 
understanding of various phases of the Software Development Life Cycle 

· Experience using Source Code and Version Control systems like 
SVN, Git, etc. 

· Deep understanding of the Hadoop ecosystem and strong conceptual 
knowledge in Hadoop architecture components 

· Self-starter who works with minimal supervision and the ability 
to work in a team of diverse skill sets 

· Ability to comprehend customer requests and provide the correct 
solution  

· Strong analytical mind to help take on complicated problems 

· Desire to resolve issues and dive into potential issues
