*Role : Sdet | Apps/QA* *Location : Tampa FL or Boston MA* *Duration : 6+ Months * *Interview : Phone than Skype * *US Citizen, GC or GC-EAD* *Candidate must be prepared to travel to one of the local vender’s or vender’s partner offices for a Client Interview* (will try to schedule within 30 miles drive from candidate location) Job Description / Requirements: A Software Engineer in Test is a software engineer, a core developer, who has a passion for test engineering. Duties • Design and implement advanced testing frameworks and build robust, scalable, and effective automated tests to validate UI-based software and non-UI-based software • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical members of the project team • Simultaneously handle multiple tasks and projects • Contribute to all efforts, from planning and organization to execution and delivery • Drive adoption of best practices in testing and overall code health Required Skills • 1+ Years of OO software development experience (Java, Python, etc..). • 1+ Years of Software Quality Assurance experience. • Undergraduate degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field. • Experience with SQL and an understanding of relational databases and architecture. • Experience with virtualization software. • Experience with Selenium WebDriver (or similar object oriented API designed to driver a browser), and browser’s Developer Tools. • Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit and TestNG. • Experience working with source control software (Accurev, SVN, Git, etc.) • Reliable, self-motivated, and focused on high quality delivery of work products. • Skilled in navigating the dynamics of working as part of a team. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a team environment. Desired Skills • Understanding of agile or other iterative software development methodologies • Background in QA processes and procedures • Ability to exercise a program API to ensure data accuracy Must demonstrate experience using (a) any object oriented API of choice that was designed to drive a web browser (eg. Selenium WebDriver, SilkTest, etc.) (b) any test framework of choice (eg. Junit, TestNG, etc.) and, (c) any programming language of choice (eg. Java, Python, etc.), Internal Notes: Needs someone who can code for sure and then test/ they need exp with CI, Jenkins, and HP ALM or Selenium.
