For quick response please respond with Resume, Visa copy and DL copy. Role: Network Engineer Rate: $50 per hour/hr. all inclusive Location: Monterey Park CA Job description: 1. Be able to independently design L2/L3 networks in Datacenters and large remote locations. Must be able to determine business requirements and provide detailed network designs. 2. Be able to troubleshoot LAN/ MPLS WAN related network issues. Must be able to troubleshoot using Cisco works and Solar Winds. Must participate in 24x7 on-call rotation. 3. Be able to independently configure and deploy cisco routers and switches (1900, 2800, 2900, 3900, ASR’s, 7206 VXR’s, 3500, 4500, 6500, Nexus 5K / 7K) 4. Must be able to perform IOS upgrades on various cisco routers / switches hardware including Nexus platforms. 5. In-depth understanding of configuration and troubleshooting of IP/TCP/UDP and its routing protocols (EIGRP, BGP). Be able to independently configure ACL’s, route filters, route re-distribution etc. 6. Extensive understanding of QoS a must. Be able to independently provide QoS configurations for VOIP deployments and help troubleshoot any voice related issues. 7. Experience with NetScout sniffers a must. Be able to capture / read network traces. 8. Excellent understanding and hands-on knowledge of DNS a must. Experience with Infoblox a plus. 9. Must be independently able to manage complex projects using MS Project. Be able to maintain excellent network documentation using Visio, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. 10. Excellent verbal / written communication skills a must. 11. Experience with Firewalls and load balancers (F5) a plus. 12. Must be able to configure cisco UCS fabric interconnects and assist server teams in deployments of cisco UCS blade servers environments. 13. Must be willing to participate in weekend / after-hours network deployments.
