This is in reference to the following position. ***** Please find below job description if you feel comfortable please revert with updated resume, rate and contact details ASAP ***** *Title : Android Firm* *w* *are Engineer/Android Software Engineer* *Location : Livonia, MI* *Duration : 6+ months* *Job description* - Hands on exp with any of the Android Open source projects - Hands on exp in implementing any Hardware abstraction layer within Android Framework. - Working knowledge of embedded operating systems. - Experience in developing software for Infotainment domain - Experience in modifying any of the existing Android Framework modules - - Perform extensive unit and system level testing to insure that all requirements are met and the highest software quality is achieved. - Analyze existing embedded software to add features, make modifications, fix bus, and/or port to different platforms. - - Identifies product requirement or performance issues. - Communicate with peers inside the Harman group to coordinate software development. *Basic Qualifications:* - 6+ years of embedded software development. - 6+ years of Core Java / C/C++ or other structured language. - 6+ years of Android Framework Development - Experience developing and debugging software in a real-time, embedded, multiprocessor, multi-interface environment. *Preferred Qualifications:* - Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent - Working knowledge of QNX or Embedded Linux. - Experience creating Java/Android applications is a plus. - Strong attention to detail. - Exemplary verbal and written communication skills. - Creative problem-solver capable of creating and reproducing complex software defects.
