Just for fun I've written a system init package for UNIX-like systems.
The motivation was a desire for something both modern (parallel execution,
dynamic service dependencies) and suitable for embedded environments (small,
simple, works happily with read-only file systems).

narcissus: Create UBIFS image in a tmp directory and delete it later
A UBIFS might be required more than once, so we keep it in a tmp directory and
xserver-xorg
xf86-video-fbdev
xf86-input-evdev
Seemingly this did help to get a step further:

I found that the OMAP L138 development board by Logic PD I have is
equipped with a Kernel that includes a graphics driver for the LCD
interface the chip features.
I do see:
