The magazine Yasadigimiz Vatan has again been raided. Again, without bothering to supply a pretext, hundred of Struggle Against Terror and Rapid Reaction Police raided it at half five in the morning. When lawyers asked the police the reason for the raid, they did not bother even listening to the call for an explanation! But what explanation can there be for such a raid at half five in the morning? As has happened many times before, the workers and readers of a legally registered journal, Yasadigimiz Vatan, have been beaten and tortured while being detained during a raid on the journal's premises. The magazine that was raided is legally permitted, but THOSE WHO CARRIED OUT THE RAID ACTED OUTSIDE THE LAW! There must be an end to this police arbitrariness. Those detained illegally as a result of the raid must be set free immediately!
