We are changing the API to access and edit collection and institution entries
in the Global Registry of Scientific
Collections<https://scientific-collections.gbif.org/> (GRSciColl) (see the
current documentation
here<https://techdocs.gbif.org/en/openapi/v1
of generating a simple 'classic' distribution map as in the
attached image?
Thanks in advance!

Dear GBIF API users,
we are applying a major update to our backend infrastructure this weekend.
Please expect an API and portal downtime of several hours starting sunday 23th
November around 10am CET.
The API will remain the same with only some bug fixes applied. It will allow us
to do
ought with api v2 ?

Dear GBIF API users,
sorry for the far too long downtime today, but the good news is that version
1.0 of the API is finally live now!
http://api.gbif.org/v1/
You can find the updated documentation here as usual:
http://www.gbif.org/developer
The previous v0.9 API URL will still be running up
