Hello. This is an invitation for those in the region who may be
interested, to join Cornell Extension Tree Fruit Researchers and
Staff to review seasonal crop, field, pest, and disease conditions
and to discuss your concerns and issues related to thinning and other
upcoming crop management activities.
Cornell Plant Pathologist Dave Rosenberger and Entomologist Peter
Jentsch, will be on hand for both meetings, as will Extension Tree
Fruit Researcher Steve Hoying, all from Cornell's Hudson Valley
Highland Lab. Cornell Tree Fruit Researcher Dr. Terence Robinson,
from the Geneva Experiment Station, will join us on May 29 for the
Peru meeting at Sullivan's Orchard. Feel free to bring along
specimens of suspect pathology or malevolent bugs! AS ALWAYS, bring
your questions regarding fruit set, thinning prospects and
strategies, and disease and pest control issues. Other guests may be
on hand. If you have particular situations or announcements you would
like to bring to everyone's attention, for general discussion or
feedback, this would be a good opportunity to do so. Remember,
un-asked questions represent missed opportunities for all.
