Thanks for the insight. I have no data to back up my claims - at least not yet.
It's merely a theory that the re-infection must be coming from vectors on the
bark. I have not tried to disinfect the surrounding bark and verified this,
because the tree has recovered on its own.
Hello, as you know, there is a lot more information on bloom infection
than anything else. So I don't think anyone has all the answers to
your questions. Further, many possibilities can coexist with varying
degrees of importance.
