In Michigan we have used approximately 284 DD42 from March 1 as the
start point for king bloom on Macs. This is in our Michigan State
University Fruit Management guide E-154, from a chart originally
prepared by Phil Schwallier of MSU. This

1300ft. my past records of 20 years show 18 to 20 days from greentip to full
bloom on apples (given varietal differences-i don't grow red delicious) plums
bloom about 2 weeks before apples, asian pears

established in 1981 will be beaten by about 2-3 days with the help of the
temperature in the higher 70's forecasted for the coming days. That's 2-3 WEEKS
