Hi Glenn, I've cut & pasted the above line into MIME.CFG and we're in
business, the Deskjet 500 is printing from Arachne.
The difficult bit is setting the config for printGFD. I've done my best
to fathom it, but need some help setting up the "paper/area" option.
It's talking about a rectangle for the print area on the paper. I have
attemted to print a simple web page that should take a couple of sides
of 8"x11" paper that we call A4 over here, I've ended up with the whole
web page squashed into a rectangle 3"x 6" in area on the paper.
A good demonstration of the capabilities of the printer, but not as
expected. Am I correct that printGFD will print complete web pages
saved as a (big) .BMP that will fill the width of paper, and use more
than 1 sheet if necessary.
While printing and still in Arachne printGFD shows the status of
printing in the microscopic DOS text that shows through, what
is the command switch in MIME.CFG to pop into printGFD so we can
see the status text and then back into Arachne after print job done.
Thank-you Regards
Laurie
