[arch-dev-public] Away on vacation until 25th September

2020-09-11 Thread Thore Bödecker via arch-dev-public
Hi,

just wanted to give a quick notification that I will be mostly away
from the digital world until 2020-09-25. I might sporadically check my
mails or pop briefly into IRC, but not engage actively in other
duties like packaging.

Feel free to bump any of my packages in the mean time, just be advised
that both the consul and the ceph package do need some work again and
might not even rebuild in their current version against our current
repo. I just haven't had time to deal with that yet.

Cheers,
Thore

Nice job!

Could someone please update the info here as well:

https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/DeveloperWiki:HOWTO_Be_A_Packager

"Simple" TUs are lacking the permissions to edit the dev wiki, as most
of you know ;)

I propose removing the svn propset command from this sections:
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/DeveloperWiki:HOWTO_Be_A_Packager#Adding_a_new_Package

and removing that $Id$ subsection here:
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/DeveloperWiki:HOWTO_Be_A_Packager#SVN_.24Id.24_tags

Cheers,
Thore

Re: [arch-dev-public] Boost looking for new maintainer

2018-03-20 Thread Thore Bödecker via arch-dev-public
Hey,

if there is really no one else that *wants* to take it, I'll adopt it.

Cheers,
Thore

[arch-dev-public] Moving extra/radvd to [community] (to adopt it)

2018-03-07 Thread Thore Bödecker via arch-dev-public
Hey,

currently the radvd package sits in extra with an open issue that is
really annoying:

https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/57310

With this mail I'm offering to adopt and maintain this package if
there are no objections.
In order for me to do so it would need to moved from extra to
community as I'm only a TU.

Cheers,
Thore

I'm going to adopt these two.
