I remember (a while ago!) reading about junior developers, and at the
time I was interested but wasnt using Arch much and busy wish uni, but
now I was wondering if there are any further information ?

If my soundcard is in use when I shutdown (which it normally is with
MPD because I just sudo halt and expect linux to shutdown), this
causes OSS to fail to unload, which in turn can leave my /var
partition mounted. Is there a specific reason it is done this way?

HI, im trying to build mplayer with dvdnav support but havnt managed yet.
Without --enable-dvdnav it will build but configure doesnt find dvdnav, with
