to get useful info from the coredump you should compile geary with debugging
flags, e.g. -Og -ggdb, and after that segfaults use coredumpctl to get a
stack
trace with gdb. That can be sent to the developer with a description of
when the
bug happens.

on my quest for a lightweight MUA I stumbled over Geary. Looks really
nice but keeps crashing with a segfault. Here's whats in the journal:

Geary broke for me at the same time (along with Shotwell), but the
update from earlier today fixed both for me. For what it's worth, I'm
using the default Antergos install theme (Numix Frost) with Cinnamon.

Not sure if Geary is connecting to the mail server at all since there is no
