[arch-general] netctl-auto and netctl refuse to work (probably due to wpa_supplicant)

Hello, I cannot connect to wifi networks using netctl or netctl-auto. Some journalctl -xe output is attached for the two types of errors I encountered. The only action I could remember that could have had anything to do with this was an upgrade of wpa_supplicant, so I googled and found [0].
