The recent update seems to have broken my box. After cleaning up everything
(removing ghc), installing xmonad and xmonad-contrib will force downgrading
some packages (such as haskell-x11). Then trying to install `haskell-stack`

Is this a known problem ?

I assume it is not there because the latest `ghc-mod` hackage release does not
compile with ghc-7.10 yet.
You can follow the issue here :

Note that the master branch does compile fine so the best option is to `cabal

Anyhow SublimeHaskell does not support haddock 2.14 yet
(https://github.com/SublimeHaskell/SublimeHaskell/issues/130). And previous
versions of haddoc
The removal of citeproc-hs is kind of unfortunate because pandoc depends on it.
Hopefully it won't be for long.

Hello,
The update of haskell-core/haskell-syb to 0.4.1-1 [installed: 0.4.0-2] seems to
break a lot's of package that still require a version = to 0.4.0-2:

Hi,
Would it be possible to have async (http://hackage.haskell.org/package/async)
in [haskell-core]
It has no dependencies apart from base and stm.

Personally I don't think it makes much sense to include "programs" such a yesod
or git-annex in [haskell-core]

However, as far as moving packages goes, it would probably be fine to wait
until someone explicitly asks for something that was in web to be made
available in core.
I would like to ask for haskell-lens. It is not really web based, don't have
much dependencies ...

No problem. I have updated the wiki so newcomers don't get lost ;-)

Hi,
If I am not mistaken, [Haskell-web] is no more in sync with [haskell-core]. For
isntance, the package "haskell-lens" cannot be installed with ghc 7.6.3.
Can I expect a fix in a couple of days or should I go with cabal in the
meanwhile ?

Hello,
I am having weird behavior with git-annex going from the AUR version to the
haskell-web repo one (actually going from the 32 bits to the 64 bits one). It
might be something that hasn't been cleaned up correctly.
Anyway I don't seem to be able to find the log file ... Nothing on /var/log
Hello,
If I am not mistaken, the wiki page
guidelinehttps://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Haskell_Package_Guidelines should
mention that we need to add something like SigLevel = Optional for
[Haskell-web] since the last pacman update (at least when using the new default
pacman.config file).
Hi,
I was just wondering why ghc and haskell-xmonad is duplicated in the
[haskell-core] repo ?
It makes the process rather weak ... If I am not mistaken the last xorg update
currently breaks haskell-xmonad.
I guess there is a good reason but the [haskell-core] maintainer need now to be

Hi,
[haskell] seems to work fine with ghc 7.6.1 (the current ghc version in Arch
