The Society of California Archivists<https://calarchivists.org/> is thrilled to
announce that registration is now open for SCA’s Fall webinar, ArchivesSpace
and Airtable for Improved Workflow Management, Wednesday, December 11, from
10:00 to 11:00 a.m. (Pacific Standard Time).

The Archival Collections Management department at New York University Libraries
recently implemented the cloud software Airtable<https://airtable.com/> for
holistic workflow management to complement its use of
ArchivesSpace<https://archivesspace.org/> as its system of record for archival
holdings. This webinar, presented by Weatherly Stephan (Head of Archival
Collections Management, NYU Libraries) and Rachel Searcy (Accessioning
Archivist, NYU Libraries), will focus on the ways in which they use Airtable in
conjunction with other systems to monitor backlogs, prioritize upcoming work,
communicate the status of current projects to a broad group of stakeholders,
and report statistics on their accessioning, arrangement and description, and
other collections management activities.

Please join us as Weatherly and Rachel share how they have connected
technological solutions to workflows in order to promote efficient collection
management strategies.

The cost is $10 for SCA members; $5 for student members; and $20 for
non-members. Registrants will receive a link to the webinar recording after
the webinar is completed.

REGISTER HERE<https://calarchivists.org/event-3625825>. Registration deadline
is December 6. Online Payment is required.

Weatherly Stephan is the Head of Archival Collections Management at NYU
Libraries, a department responsible for preparing archival collections for

the NYU Archives & Public History Program. Previously, Weatherly was the
Librarian for Archival Arrangement & Description at NYU, and worked in
processing positions at the New York Public Library’s Archives Unit and the
Brooklyn Historical Society.

Rachel Searcy is the Accessioning Archivist and primary ArchivesSpace
administrator at New York University Libraries, working in the Archival
Collections Management department. Previously, Rachel held positions focused on
