Dear ArchivesSpace members, We’re pleased to announce that the new ArchivesSpace Help Center, with an improved user manual and new training videos, is now available. The new Help Center is part of our larger Confluence site, which includes information about many of our community and development activities. The current site (http://docs.archivesspace.org<http://docs.archivesspace.org/>) will be up through early 2020, but it will be closed to new user signups and no content will be updated. The new and improved content is thanks to the efforts of our User Documentation sub-team and our training corps. We are in the process of migrating accounts from the previous Help Center this week – we expect to conclude this process no later than Monday, December 16. Depending on whether you already had an account in Confluence or the previous Help Center, here is what to do: * If you already had an account for our Confluence site, you do not need to do anything. Privileges to access the Help Center area have been added to your account as long as your email address on Confluence and the email address used in the previous Help Center were the same. You will not receive a separate invitation for the Help Center; access will just appear in your account. If you are unsure whether you already had a Confluence account or haven’t used it in awhile, please contact us. * If you had an account on the previous Help Center site but did not already have an account for our Confluence site, you will receive an email invitation from Atlassian to set up your account and get access to the new area. The subject line will be ArchivesSpace has invited you to Confluence. This account will also give you enhanced access to our other Confluence areas. Passwords from the old site will not carry over, so you will need to create a password as part of setting up your Confluence account.
