Hello,
Are you considering migrating to ArchivesSpace from Archon or Archivist's
Toolkit? Need some help getting started and learning more about the migration
process? Please join us onsite in Virginia Beach for Atlas Systems' MakerSpace
event to work with an ArchivesSpace Project Manager and Trainer along with our
Development team to plan and prepare for your move. The fee for this 1 1/2 day
hands-on session is $300 and includes transportation to and from the airport,
lunch and dinner on Tuesday, breakfast and snacks on Wednesday.
The session will include:
* ArchivesSpace Basics hands-on class
* Overview of a typical migration project
* Our development team will demo the Archon and Archivist's Toolkit
Migration tools and share their experiences with the many migration projects
they have completed
* How to best prepare data for migration
* Discussion of some common migration issues and tools/strategies to
correct and cleanup with opportunity for Q & A
Takeaway: Knowledge of ArchivesSpace basic functionality, migration options &
best practices, and a getting started implementation project outline customized
for your ArchivesSpace Migration.

TIME: Wednesday 9 AM to 7 PM, Thursday 9 AM to Noon
