Scott,
We were receiving the same error after a recent upgrade and it was because of
some old HTML code in the notes (formatting) leftover from our Archon days, as
well as some special characters (Old English letters) it didn't like. When I
removed or updated those, it displayed just fine.
In my experience, you may have something wrong with your in-line tags or fonts
used for text. Or, a date mismatch for restrictions if that is a thing you have
in those collections.
