commencing 1 January 2023. I hope you will join myself and rest of the Board of
Trustees in thanking Ron da Silva, Naseem Bawa, William Sylvester, and Muhammad
Adeel Javaid for their participation in this year’s election. Their interest in
contributing to ARIN’s future, and their concern for the governance of the
organization and the Internet are deeply appreciated and we look forward to
their continued participation.
Advisory Council
Gerry George, Kendrick Knowles, and Gus Reese have been elected, and incumbents
Alison Wood and Brian Jones have been re-elected to the Advisory Council for

Jawaid Bazyar for their participation in this year’s Advisory Council elections
and looks forward to their continued involvement in our community, including
policy development in our community.
NRO Number Council

and looks forward to her continued participation within the global Internet
community.
Thanks and Appreciation
On behalf of the Board of Trustees, I would like to recognize and thank
outgoing Board member Catherine Middleton. Catherine has served on the ARIN
Board since 2019, and in that time has contributed fresh perspectives and keen
insights on ARIN’s governance and organizational practices. We appreciate all
of her efforts and dedication to the organization and look forward to her
continuing participation in the ARIN community.

We would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation and thanks to outgoing
Advisory Council members Joe Provo, Alyssa Quinn, and Kerrie Richards. Each has
contributed to our community and done tremendous work in their roles on the
Advisory Council and beyond. We look forward to their continued interest and
involvement in ARIN policy development.

In addition, we also wish to offer thanks to Martin Hannigan, outgoing
representative on the NRO NC for his many years of service and passionate
engagement with ARIN and the global Internet community.
