The entire point of IDing these was to ID abandoned number resources so as to make them available for reassignment. So why are we getting upset about crufty stuff in the ARIN database that is not tied to a number resource? Take for example block NET-199-248-255-0-1 I've used that one

Michael, Depending on where you saw this it could be related to 2 different issues: - an Org ID having direct assignments/allocations where the POC contacts ARIN asking to be removed as they are no longer associated with that organization. If they are unable to provide a replacement POC, ARIN
