I revisited this, and I’m still seeing some issues on GNOME/Wayland on
Pinebook Pro, but not quite the same ones that I remember or that
Andreas reported.
1. Fresh boot (just to be sure)
2. Select “GNOME” session (Wayland)
3. Open KeepassXC or Thunderbird
4. Application name appears next to

It's not related to the firmware, it's not supported in the
